Making of Candle

Creating candle:

First, I chopped a sphere in half, filled the gap under mesh fill gap, then placed it at the bottom. On top I put two more cylinders and shaped them to the candle. I added a tiny cylinder to the top for the wick of the candle and a half donut for the handle.

For the texture I exported to substance and added metal to the bottom and leather to the candle part.

I could have also added a flame to the top of this but didn’t think of it until later.

Candle inspiration:

The inspiration for this was a medieval style candle but with gold since King Arthur was, well, a King, and gold is a rich metal. I wanted it to be able to be carried so I added a handle.
