Making of Chalice

Creating Chalice:

To make the chalice I created the stem with curves and the top by chopping a sphere in half using face tool, then stretching it to shape and adding thickness.

I then made cones, and made them only have 3 sides so they were triangular and carefully placed them on the sides for the gems.

For the texture I exported to substance and added coloured metals.

Inspiration:

My inspiration for the chalice was the idea that the knights of the round table would drink out of them. They’d need rich items to represent their status in life.

As much as I wish I had the skill to create something like this, I simplified and added some gems instead.
